“Music has always been a big part of my life. I just use it to get away,” says Kevin Durant. KD has teamed up with three of his favorite hip-hop producers — Cardo, 9th Wonder, and Boi-1da — to launch the Nike KD15 Producer Pack.
Each producer has collaborated with Nike and Kevin Durant to create their own colorway of the KD15. Hailing from St. Paul, Minnesota, Cardo dressed the KD15 primarily in grey with a glow-in-the-dark TPU overlay on the lateral and a glow-in-the-dark outsole. 9th Wonder’s pair pays tribute to his late brother Charles Douthit and features a map of his hometown of Winston-Salem, North Carolina on the outsoles. Last but not least, the Boi-1da colorway comes in black and dark grey hues with highlighter pops of pink, orange, and yellow. “86 BPM” appears across the heels, nodding to the producer’s born year.
The Nike KD15 Producer Pack launched today, September 8th with the release of the Cardo colorway on Nike.com and at select retailers such as Foot Locker. The 9th Wonder colorway drops on September 15th, while the Boi-1da pair drops on September 22nd. Check out all three pairs below.
