KAR L’Art de L’Automobile x Salomon for Le Mans 2024

After dropping a collection with Drake and Nike’s NOCTA earlier this year, KAR L’art De L’Automobile has reunited with Salomon for their second collaboration with the outdoor-focused sportswear brand.

This latest team-up coincides with the 2024 24 Hours of Le Mans, the sports car race scheduled to take place June 15-16 at Circuit de la Sarthe in Le Mans, France. The partnership is a perfect pairing, as both Salomon and Arthur Kar’s L’art De L’Automobile are headquartered in France and there is no other lifestyle brand doing automotive-focused projects quite like L’art De L’Automobile.

A follow-up to their ACS Pro collab from 2022, the 2024 KAR x Salomon project features two silhouettes, the XT-4 OG and Speedcross 3. Both shoes come in a white, red, and blue color scheme, nodding to both the French flag as well as the Porsche 911 GT1-98 that took the overall victory at Le Mans in 1998. The XT-4 OG even features the same blue stripe design found on the Porsche 911 GT1 livery.

Both shoes feature KAR branding at the toe and L’art branding on the tongue strip. Each also come with co-branded graphic insoles printed with a Porsche 911 GT1 silhouette. The footwear is accompanied by a L’art de L’automobile apparel capsule featuring Porsche 911 GT1-98 graphics and Paris 2024 branding.

The second KAR L’art De L’Automobile x Salomon collection drops June 14th on lartkar.com (2pm Paris time), followed by a global release June 18th via Salomon.com and select retailers. Check out the campaign video and both pairs below.
