Chicago’s own Joe Freshgoods is back with a new collection in partnership with the city’s two MLB teams, the Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox.
Releasing in celebration of the Crosstown Classic, the collection includes new shorts in collaboration with Mitchell & Ness, continuing JFG’s ongoing partnership with the sportswear brand. New Era is also in the mix, with 5950 fitted hats available in black for the Southsiders and in Cubby Blue for the Wrigleyville heroes.
The rest of the collection was created in-house. The City of Chicago Standard Uniform Heavyweight Hoodie features “Chicago” embroidery across the chest in a split font, nodding to the logos of both teams. Rounding out the offering is a tee that reads “All Great Things Come From Chicago” and a heavyweight tee with a cherub-inspired graphic.
Joe also snuck in a first look at his latest New Balance project in the collection’s lookbook. One of the shots feature a New Balance 650 with JFG branding on the forefoot and tongue. More on that later!
The Joe Freshgoods SS23 “Across Town” collection will be available on Saturday, August 5th at 12pm CT online on the JFG website and in store at Every Now & Then in Chicago. Check out the lookbook shots below.
