Following its debut in “Bold Gold,” the Bad Bunny x adidas Ballerina returns in two new colorways: “Core Black” and “Off White.”
Inspired by dancing, the Bad Bunny Ballerina takes design cues from the adidas Taekwondo martial arts shoe from the early 2000s, as both dancers and martial artists require footwear designed for smooth pivots, flexibility, and quick footwork. The sleek silhouette has a feminine aesthetic, as the name implies, but is made for anyone who can relate to Benito’s duality, a blend of lover and fighter.
Featuring premium suede overlays on the toe and heel and bungee-cord laces for a secure fit, the design is personalized with “Benito” branding near the three stripes and an exterior sizing tag seen on previous Bad Bunny x adidas collaborations.
The campaign for the new colorways captures the spirit of dance through life’s joyful moments: proms, weddings, and time spent with loved ones. Both his hit single “BAILE INoLVIDABLE” and the Ballerina silhouette reflect the essence of Puerto Rico’s music culture, with Bad Bunny pushing salsa forward as a bridge between tradition and innovation.
The Bad Bunny Ballerina in “Core Black” and “Off White” will be available April 12th on CONFIRMED, adidas.com/badbunny, and at select retailers. Check out both pairs below.
