A$AP Rocky Appointed First Creative Director for Ray-Ban

A$AP Rocky has been having a great week. From celebrating his not guilty verdict, to Rihanna’s 37th birthday, to now being named creative director for eyewear brand Ray-Ban.

As a trendsetter in both music and fashion, Rocky will bring his distinctive vision to Ray-Ban Studios as the brand’s first-ever creative director, guiding creative projects and shaping the future of the brand’s image and design.

“I’ve always admired Ray-Ban’s ability to stay true to its roots while constantly evolving,” says A$AP Rocky. “I’m excited to be part of the strong heritage and develop the next chapter for an iconic brand like Ray-Ban.”

His first order of business as creative director will be the launch of his Blacked Out Collection, featuring redesigns of Ray-Ban’s Mega Icons with gold-plated details and a brand new ultra-black lens type. Besides designing eyewear, Rocky will also be directing creative campaigns for the brand and redesign Ray-Ban stores while incorporating music, fashion, and the arts.
