Air Jordan 4 “Forget-Me-Not” Dropping in Honor of Mother’s Day

Jordan Brand is celebrating Mother’s Day this year with a special women’s colorway of the Air Jordan 4.

As floral bouquets are a popular gift for Mother’s Day, the Jordan Brand team opted to make a shoe inspired by flowers, specifically forget-me-nots. Leather uppers are done up in white, while hits of forget-me-not blue are found on the lace locks, heel tabs, sockliners, and on the mesh underneath the netting of the side panels and tongues. The shoe also comes equipped with removable floral patches on the laces.

The floral theme continues with the special packaging, which is covered in floral artwork and dressed in the same color scheme as the shoe. Inside the box, the shoes come wrapped in natural wax tissue paper, the same kind of paper used to wrap flower bouquets. Last but not least, the shoes come with an attached Mother’s Day card, featuring a poem that reads as follows:

“In fields of blue, where forget-me-nots sway,
an ode to those who guided our way.
We present these flowers, for all the support,
and for the courage to step on the court.

Each petal a thank you, for all that you do.
Every shot taken, is taken for you.”
