Air Jordan 1 Low ’85 “Metallic Blue” Coming Soon

0

Original Story (05/31/23): First released in 1986 and retro’d in 2016, the Air Jordan 1 Low “Metallic Blue” is slated to make a return in Spring 2024, but on the new AJ1 Low ’85 model. This marks the second OG AJ1 Low colorway to return as an Air Jordan 1 Low ’85, following the release of the “Neutral Grey” iteration.

The AJ1 Low ’85 “Metallic Blue” features a Summit White upper in contrast to a navy outsole and metallic navy swoosh. Additional hits of navy are found on sockliner, heel tab, and Nike Air on the tongue. As these feature the “’85” designation, this nostalgic release is expected to have similar cut, shape, and colorway as the original run of the AJ1 Low that ran from 1985 to 1986. Also expect superior materials and construction, making this release feel a bit more special than the AJ1 Low “Metallic Blue” retro released in 2016.

Look for the AJ1 Low ’85 “Metallic Blue” to release on SNKRS and at select retailers in March 2024. Check out images of the original 1986 release below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
