adidas Originals Introduces Ozworld Digital Experience

adidas Originals continues its journey into the Metaverse with the launch of its digital Ozworld experience. This launch follows the brand’s “Into the Metaverse” NFT collection and its “re-source” NFT project with Prada.

The digital Ozworld experience launch coincides with the release of the physical Ozworld footwear collection. In collaboration with Ready Player Me, adidas Originals will be allowing users to generate unique digital avatars based on the their personality. Users will be asked a set of questions, including picking a favorite Ozworld footwear model, with each answer contributing to the style of the AI-generated avatar. From there, the possibilities are endless, with over 1500 different Metaverse apps and games supporting use of the avatar. Users can also animate the avatar and download it as a GIF and sticker pack for their social channels across the web.

As for the footwear, the Ozworld collection offers three silhouettes inspired by fearless self-expression. Leading the pack is the newest model from adidas, the Oznova, featuring a translucent overlaid upper atop a sole unit equipped with glow-in-the-dark paneling and adiPlus technology. The Ozelia and Ozweego complete the pack with their signature bold lines and sleek design on adiPrene cushioning.

The Ready Player Me x adidas Ozworld experience is set to open to the public soon on adidas Ozworld website. adiClub Members and adidas NFT holders will be granted early access 24 hours before the public launch. The first installment of Ready Player Me avatars arrive on April 28th. The footwear collection can be found on the adidas website and at select retailers.
