Cam’ron said Anthony Edwards is not yet a superstar, though we disagree. The Timberwolves guard led his team to the conference finals in tremendous fashion, and he’s not finished. Ant Man is gonna be a problem as part of Team USA in the 2024 Olympics. Plus, he’s only 22, so he’s got plenty of time to prove the haters wrong.
Edwards’ ascent into superstar status is commemorated with the release of the adidas AE 1 “Ascent” pack, featuring the AE 1 Mid and AE 1 Low. Both styles come dressed in a swirling mix of greys, reminiscent of the patterns found on YEEZY MX colorways.
The AE 1 Mid opts for a darker mix of greys, with Charcoal and Carbon dressing the honeycomb-like TPU upper. The AE 1 Low, on the other hand, features Silver Pebble and Wonder Beige hues. Both come with black knit underlays and a silver reflective toe box.
The adidas AE 1 “Ascent” Pack drop July 20th on adidas.com and at select retailers. The Low will be available exclusively via adidas and Foot Locker, while the Mid will have a wider release at more retailers such as Dick’s and JD Sports. Check out the official images below.
