Original Story (11/9/21): Latin music artist J Balvin is following up his debut Jordan collab with his own twist on the Air Jordan 2.
The Air Jordan 2 is currently undergoing a revival thanks to collaborations from Virgil Abloh and Union LA. Teased by the Colombian megastar himself, the stand-out feature of the J Balvin x Air Jordan 2 is its LED lights that can be turned on with the press of a button. This marks the first time that LED lights are placed on a Jordan Retro shoe. The Wings logo on the tongue lights up, while the outsoles appear to be glow-in-the-dark. Based on the teaser photos, we also see that the release will feature a padded-style upper and come in a full-family size run.
Check out the teaser images shared by J Balvin below and expect a release in the coming months on SNKRS and at select retailers. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
