Junghoon Son, the Korea-born, Virginia-based designer better known as VANDYTHEPINK, has unveiled his second collaboration with Clarks Originals.
After giving the Wallabee a skeletal makeover last year, VANDY is now bringing his signature burger iconography to the crepe-soled footwear. The Burger Wallabee features a tan suede upper to represent a burger bun, complete with sesame seed embroidery on the toe box. The burger patty and all the trimmings (cheese, tomato, and lettuce) are then added on as lace tags. As a final touch, a basket of fries is pictured on the graphic insoles.
The VANDYTHEPINK x Clarks Burger Wallabee drops Friday, October 27th via the Clark’s website, onvandylab.org, and select retailers. Check out the campaign photos and video below.
