Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Home” Release Info

Original Story (5/28/24): Marcus Jordan and Trophy Room are gearing up to launch the second installment of their “Rookie Card” Air Jordan 1 Low OG project.

Back in March, Trophy Room founder Marcus Jordan launched the “Away” edition of his Air Jordan 1 Low OG collab, a project inspired by his father Michael Jordan’s 1986 Fleer rookie card.

A second colorway is now on the way, the “Home” edition, this one more limited than the first. Leaked images reveal this colorway is individually numbered and limited to 1000 pairs.

Both versions are dressed in a Chicago Bulls-inspired color scheme, though there are a few major differences between the two colorways. The most obvious is the color of the embroidered Swooshes on the side panels. The “Away” pair features a black Swoosh, while the “Home” pair features a white Swoosh, nodding to the colors of Home and Away basketball jerseys.

Some of the construction materials have also been swapped between the two colorways. The “Home” pair features a smooth red leather on the toe cap and eyelets, which was a red satin material on the “Away” pair. The toe box on the “Home” pair is made on a shiny satin-like textile, which was white smooth leather on the “Away.”

Another added detail on the “Home” colorway is the incorporation of subtle blue and yellow hits on the trim of the eyelet flaps. These colors are pulled from the Fleur rookie card and are also found on the insoles of both colorways.

Details found on both colorways include Michael Jordan’s signature embroidered on the lateral heel, Trophy Room logo branding embroidered on the forefoot overlay, and metallic gold Wings logo hardware on the back of the heels.

According to Elden Monitors, the Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Rookie Card – Home” is slated for a June 23rd release (subject to change). Expect these to be available exclusively in-store at Trophy Room in Orlando, Florida.

Update (6/23/24): Trophy Room has announced release details for the AJ1 Low OG “Rookie Card: Home.”

The in-store raffle is open June 23-24 at Trophy Room’s Orlando location exclusively to Florida residents. Winners will be notified June 25th.
