The classic animated TV show The Simpsons and adidas kicked off their partnership earlier this year with the launch of the “Krusty Burger” ZX 10000. Two more Simpsons-themed releases have since been revealed, the “Flaming Moe’s” ZX 1000 and “Squishee” Superstar, both inspired by beverages from The Simpsons universe. The most iconic beverage from the show, Duff Beer, is now getting in on the fun, with its own adidas Forum Low.
Made to look like a can of the fictional drink, the “Duff Beer” Forum Low comes dressed in shiny patent leather. Silver dressed the toe box and tongue, while gold is used for the lacestay paneling and sections of the heel. However, like the can, red is the primary color, dressing most of the side panels and the forefoot strap. Duff branding is found on the tongue tag, while custom dubraes come shaped like a can of Duff Beer. Thick black trimming is found throughout to give the shoe a 2D, cartoony vibe.
