Original Story (07/08/24): Nike and Bandai Namco are teaming up to release a TEKKEN 8 Foamposite One pack to celebrate the latest installment in the popular fighting video game series.
The pack will feature a “Fist Meets Fate” theme, comprised of colorways inspired by the long-standing rivalry between Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama.
Official images of the “Kazuya Mishima” colorway reveal a navy iridescent upper with a scaly, reptile-like pattern covering the shell. The Tekken 8 logo appears on the left tongue, opposite Penny’s 1 Cent logo on the right. “FIST” and “FATE” branding is found on the outsoles, surrounded by blue thunder graphics. The shoes come in special packaging.
The yet-to-be-revealed second colorway is expected to be inspired by Jin Kazama and feature the same branding and special packaging.
The TEKKEN 8 x Nike Air Foamposite One “Fist Meets Fate” pack is slated to drop Fall 2024 on SNKRS and at select retailers. Grab a look at the “Kazuya Mishima” colorway below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
Update (07/20/24): The TEKKEN 8 x Nike Air Foamposite One pack was official revealed today at Evo 2024. The “Jin Kazama” pair comes in a primarily white colorway with lightning graphics on the upper.
Both pairs will be featured as in-game wearables, launching alongside a “Urban Square” Battle Stage Nike collab in an update coming Fall 2024. A limited Las Vegas-only Stash Drop for the “Kazuya Mishima” colorway went down on SNKRS as part of the tournament’s festivities. A wider release will take place later this fall to coincide with the in-game update.

Update (09/25/24): Retailers have begun sharing release details for the “Jin Kazama” colorway, which arrives on October 25th. A wider release for the “Kazuya Mishima” colorway has yet to be announced.
