Supreme Debuts Collab With Hiroshi Fujiwara’s GOODENOUGH

They don’t call him the “Godfather of Streetwear” for nothing. Prior to founding fragment design in 2003, Hiroshi Fujiwara had already played a pivotal role in the evolution of contemporary Japanese fashion with the launch of his first streetwear label, GOODENOUGH, established in 1990.

After traveling to NYC in the ’80s as a teen, Fujiwara returned to Tokyo and exposed the Japanese audience to hip-hop, igniting a homegrown DJ scene. He then combined his love of punk with hip-hop, BMX, skateboarding, and Western luxury fashion influences to create GOODENOUGH with graphic designer SK8THING, influencing his protégés Jun Takahashi and NIGO to form their own streetwear brands, UNDERCOVER and A BATHING APE.

Nowadays, Fujiwara’s primary focus is on his FRGMT design studio, though the GOODENOUGH brand is occasionally revived for special projects and collaborations. Supreme has now tapped GOODENOUGH for a new Spring 2025 collection, showcasing designs by the originator of the Ura-Harajuku movement.

The collection features an extensive range of apparel, including reversible MA-1 jackets with leopard print liners, patchwork jackets with removable hoods, zip-up cable knit hooded sweaters, patchwork and crushed rayon button-up short-sleeve shirts, graphic tees and hoodies, long-sleeve “FUCK” thermals, corduroy military pants, headwear, and more.

A highlight of the collection is the return of the “END RACISM” tee, which Hiroshi originally released in 1991 following the violent beating of Rodney King by the LAPD. Over thirty years later, the messaging is unfortunately still relevant. Supreme’s version of this tee stays true to the OG, though replacing the “Special Edition” wording with “Supreme Edition” and the year “1991” with “2025.”

The collection also features a triple collaboration with Nike on the Air Force 1 Low. It features a white full-grain leather upper with debossed logos on the lateral heels, a leopard print pony hair Swoosh, and printed logos on the translucent outsoles.

This collection marks the first GOODENOUGH x Supreme collab since 2007, when the two brands initially linked up on a handful of tees and long-sleeves. It also marks the first GOODENOUGH x Nike project since their Court Force collaboration in 2015.

The Supreme x GOODENOUGH collection drops Thursday, June 5th on the Supreme website (11am ET) and at Supreme locations. Available in Asia on June 7th. Check out the lookbook and product shots below.
