Original Story (08/12/21): SoleFly’s Air Jordan 1 collabs are one of the most coveted sneakers on the market, each fetching a couple grand on StockX. The Miami-based sneaker retailer is now reconnecting with Jordan Brand, this time launching a collab on the Air Jordan 1 Low.
A teaser shared by Travis Scott reveals a camo-like pattern on the toe cap inspired by the midsole of the Nike Air Carnivore from 1993. This “Carnivore” theme was chosen as a nod to the carnivorous wildlife of the Florida Everglades. The shoe also features a red suede toe box, said to be inspired by the Nike SB Dunk Low “Bison” 2003 colorway.
The SoleFly x Air Jordan 1 Low “Carnivore” is expected to launch in December. Grab a look at Travis Scott’s teaser image below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates on this release.
