Vans and LA-based streetwear brand SATOSHI NAKAMOTO are teaming up for a collaboration on the Old Skool.
In 2023, before this official partnership with OTW by Vans, SATOSHI NAKAMOTO released its own custom Old Skools independently. Imbued with SATOSHI NAKAMOTO’s signature rugged and vintage aesthetic, the two colorways featured metal studded side stripes and crystal embellishments on the side panels.
For its first official collab with Vans, SATOSHI NAKAMOTO revisits last year’s custom designs, with a few tweaks. The side stripes now feature pearl and crystal studs, with additional embellishments found on the toes, heels, and tongues. The canvas uppers come in an Olive Drab color, and “SATOSHI NAKAMOTO” is embroidered in red in a hand-written font on the tongues. Yellowed soles add to the vintage-inspired design.
