Original Story (03/30/24): Illinois-born, New York-based artist Nina Chanel Abney is following up her Air Jordan 2 collabs from 2022 with a new Jumpman collab centered around the Air Jordan 3.
The Nina Chanel 3 comes dressed in a Malachite green color scheme with construction primarily in canvas, painters’ textile of choice. This is paired with suede hits on the heel counter, toe cap, ankle collar, and eyelets. A cream-like Fossil hue is then applied to the midsole, as well as the eyestays, heel panels, laces, and sockliner. Special features include custom font on the Nike Air branding on the heels and a perforated orange Jumpman tag that can be removed by the wearer if they choose to do so.
The Nina Chanel Abney x Air Jordan 3 is expected to drop this June on SNKRS and at select retailers in extended women’s sizing alongside an accompanying apparel collection. Grab a first look below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.

Update (05/31/24): Nina Chanel has announced a June 13th launch for her Air Jordan 3 and apparel collection, dropping on getsupercool.com. She also posted a photo of herself wearing a work jacket from the collection that features the number “1988,” the year the Air Jordan 3 was introduced.
A wider release on SNKRS and select retailers will go down on June 20th.

Update (06/11/24): A raffle to purchase the Nina Chanel x Air Jordan 3 will be open June 13th from 2pm ET to 3pm ET on getsupercool.com. Winners will receive an e-mail and have 30 minutes to complete purchase. The apparel will be available on the site on June 13th starting at 11am ET.
