Pro skater Ishod Wair is gearing up to launch his second signature shoe with Nike SB.
A follow-up to the Nike SB Ishod that launched at the top of 2022, the second Ishod Wair signature model is officially called the Air Max Ishod, though fan nicknames include “Air Wair,” “Wair Max,” as well as simply just the “Ishod 2.” While the Ishod 1 was already packed with tech, the Air Max Ishod goes to the next level. Right away, you’ll notice the Air Max bubble on the heel with an extra window on the back of the heel. What’s crazy is that the Air cushioning is actually incorporated as part of the drop-in midsole, allowing for more direct impact cushioning while maintaining a low profile for greater boardfeel.
Another feature on the Air Max Ishod is its caged lacing system that helps protect from blowouts and makes the shoe fit more securely to your foot. Looking at the side panels, we once again find this see-through mesh that provides ventilation, while on the toe box there is a turn-in stitch suede toe cap for added durability.
The Nike SB Air Max Ishod launches in two sporty colorways: one in white, red, and black and another in white, navy, and green. Both drop on January 19th at local skate shops and on Nike.com. Check out official images of both the “Varsity Red” and “Obsidian” below.
