Official Look at the Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Italian Camo”

Original Story (09/11/23): Sneakerheads and fans of the legendary Kobe Bryant have reason to celebrate as Nike is promising to release more Kobe shoes in the near future. On the release schedule is the highly anticipated return of the Nike Kobe 6 “Italian Camo,” dropping as a Protro release in 2024.

Originally released in 2011, the Kobe 6 “Italian Camo” pays tribute to the Black Mamba’s childhood, growing up in Italy from the age of 6 to 13 while his father Joe Bryant played pro basketball there. The shoe has a color palette of black, khaki, and olive with a camo pattern inspired by uniforms of the Italian military, broken up by a splash of crimson red on the swoosh and tongue logo. Like other Kobe 6s, the “Italian Camos” have a synthetic upper that mimics a snake skin texture, inspired by Kobe’s Black Mamba persona.

The re-release of the “Italian Camo” Kobe 6 is set for Summer 2024. Look for them to drop on SNKRS and at select Nike retailers. Make sure to stay tuned in to Modern Notoriety for any updates and check out the images below.

Update (12/28/23): The Kobe 6 Protro “Italian Camo” is currently slated to drop on April 13th. Check out on-feet photos via Yankee Kicks below.
