Original Story (04/22/25): After bringing back the KD 4 in 2024, Kevin Durant and Nike Basketball are now gearing up to retro the KD 6 in multiple colorways.
One of the colorways set to make its return is the “PBJ,” a peanut butter and jelly-themed colorway that first released in 2013. Inspired by KD’s favorite childhood snack, the shoe features uppers dressed primarily in golden yellow, representing peanut butter, with the large Swoosh on the forefoot covered in grape jelly.
Kevin Durant’s sixth signature shoe was designed to provide a balance of support, comfort, and performance for players of all positions. It features a Hyperfuse upper for durability, Air Max cushioning for comfort, and a molded heel cup for support. As first reported by Brandon1an and Sneaker Market RO, both the “PBJ” colorway and All-Star “Illusion” colorways of the KD 6 will be making their return, with more colorways TBA.
The Nike KD 6 “PB&J” is slated to drop Spring 2026 on SNKRS and at select retailers. Check out the original release below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
