Original Story (03/22/22): Fans of the Nike Air Trainer line are feasting in 2022 with the return of the Air Trainer OG, the new Air Trainer 1 Utility styles, and the potential release of a Cactus Jack collab. The Swoosh is also set to bring back one of Bo Jackson’s most memorable shoes, the Air Trainer SC High in the OG “Auburn” colorway.
The Air Trainer SC was originally released in 1990 and designed for Bo Jackson, an elite athlete who played both professional baseball in the MLB as well as professional football in the NFL. You may remember Nike’s “Bo Knows” commercials from 1989-1990, which brought Jackson and the cross-training shoe to a new level of fame. Last retro’d in 2017, Nike is once again bringing back the OG “Auburn” colorway, which is dressed in colors that nod to Jackson’s college football days as a running back for the Auburn Tigers, where he won the Heisman Trophy in 1985.

I just love it when they bring back OG’s. Those were hot and still are. Mixing summer colors is always thoughtful. In general, the more colorful sneakers are the better chance you have to match them with any clothes. Which can be an great advantage. More colors also says a lot about the personality and state of mind. I just love em.
