Lil Yachty and Nike are dropping a second colorway of the “Concrete Boys” Air Force 1.
According to Sneaker Market RO, the Lil Yachty x Nike Air Force 1 is set to return in 2025 in a Lucky Green, Mystic Red, and University Gold color scheme. These colors match the colorway that Boat first debuted during his Coachella performance back in April.
There is a stark difference in the aesthetic between this upcoming colorway and the first colorway released in 2024. The minimalist white/navy pair drew inspiration from promo Air Force 1s that Nike made for artist-run music labels in the 2000s (such as Roc-A-Fella, Terror Squad, and Shady Records). These AF-1s typically featured all-white uppers with the record label’s logo on the lateral heel, a formula that Yachty recreated in his first Nike collab to pay tribute to those who came before him.
The 2000s was also when NIGO was dropping patent leather BAPE STAs in bright, bold colors. This second “Concrete Boys” Air Force 1 appears to pay homage to the Japanese designer. Yachty even used this AF-1 to recreate an old photo of NIGO staring at a pair of BAPE STAs.
This second colorway of the Lil Yachty x Nike Air Force 1 is set to drop in Summer 2025 on SNKRS and at select retailers. Grab a preview below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
