The thing about sneakers is that we wear them so often that we can forget that they were originally made for one thing–sport. Yeah, you can wear the latest Nike Flyknit Racer with your leather pants and Gore tex fashion parka for a super dope fit, but let’s not forget what the shoe was originally made for: running.
The staff over at Vogue magazine posted this editorial showing top models dressed in recent releases from Nike, New Balance, adidas and the like. Though I doubt I’m ditching my Asics runners-and-rolled up jeans combo anytime soon, these athletic looks are giving me some pretty dope ideas for what I want to be wearing the next few days.
