After teasing its Juice WRLD collaboration, Ksubi has now begun to roll out another collaborative project, this one in partnership with London-based artist Slawn.
Before moving to London, Olaolu Slawn co-founded the skate brand Motherlan in 2017 in his hometown of Lagos, Nigeria. Since then, Slawn has continued to make a name for himself in the world of streetwear, working with the likes of Supreme, Off-White, and Awake NY. Slawn is now teaming up with Ksubi, offering a capsule collection comprised of tees, hoodies, tote bags, and Ksubi’s specialty — denim.
The 22-year-old artist brings his DIY aesthetic to the pieces, with a graffiti-style clown face being the main motif found across the pieces. Slawn also flips his “Fuck Slawn” motto to “FUCKSUBI,” which appears throughout the collection. While tees and hoodies were produced in higher quantities, the denim pieces are limited to 50 hand-painted and custom-designed units.
The Ksubi x Slawn “FUCKSUBI” capsule collection launches in-store at Ksubi’s UK flagship on Carnaby Street on November 12th at 10am BST. A global online release is slated for November 15th at 9am BST. Customers can secure the collection ahead of the online release by signing up on the Ksubi website for 48-hour VIP early access.
