Original Story (11/18/24): Nike is paying homage to the late great Kobe Bryant with the release of special Air Force 1s in collaboration with the NBA legend’s estate.
The design of the upcoming Air Force 1 Low pays homage to Player Exclusive Air Force 1 Mid “Lakers Home” colorway worn by Kobe during his 2002-2003 “sneaker free agent” season. It features a white leather upper and a double layered gold Swoosh with purple trim. Special design details include Kobe’s signature on the tongue tag, the Kobe Sheath logo debossed on the lateral heel, and embroidery on the back of the heels of Kobe’s jersey number 8 and the Sheath logo.
The Kobe Bryant x Nike Air Force 1 “Home” is set to drop December 6th on SNKRS and at select retailers, though pairs have already begun to pop up at some City Gear locations. Grab a preview below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for more info.
