Kith x Marvel x ASICS “Super Villains” Collection Drops This Week

Original Story (07/22/24): Ronnie Fieg has unveiled a new Kith x Marvel x ASICS collaboration, a follow-up to the collection of X-Men GEL-LYTE IIIs released in 2023.

This new collection features a “Super Villains” theme with colorways themed after iconic nemeses from the Marvel universe. Silhouettes featured include the GT-2160, GEL-KAYANO 14, and GEL-1130, while the villains featured include Green Goblin, Silver Surfer, Magneto, and Venom.

Similar to the X-Men ASICS that came with their own PSA-graded trading cards, each “Super Villain” ASICS comes with a PSA-graded Kith x Marvel comic book of varying rarity. Ronnie Fieg himself makes an appearance on the cover of the Green Goblin comic.

Based on the teaser images, it appears that the “Venom” GT-2160 will be releasing as part of a two-pack alongside a “Spider-Man” colorway. This matches the Venom vs. Spider-Man theme seen on the cover art of the Venom comic book.

Update (08/05/24): Following its launch at SDCC, the Kith x Marvel x ASICS “Super Villains” collection will be dropping online this Friday, August 9th via Kith.
