Following its original release in 2002 and its subsequent revival in 2012, Jordan Brand is once again re-issuing the “Cool Grey” colorway of the Air Jordan 9.
While not an original colorway, Michael Jordan did lace up the “Cool Grey” Air Jordan 9 in 2002 during his time with the Washington Wizards. The 2025 retro remains true to the original design, showcasing a predominantly grey nubuck upper with matching grey leather mudguards. The midsole, laces, and heel contrast with white details, creating a balanced and clean aesthetic. White Jordan branding is prominently displayed on the midsole and heel, while the tongue features subtle grey Jordan branding, seamlessly blending with the overall monochromatic theme to the OG colorway together.
