Hypland has released many anime collaborations over the years, so it’s really a wonder what took so long for a Hypland x One Piece collab to come to fruition. Well, the highly anticipated link up has officially arrived, as Hypland has unveiled its One Piece capsule in celebration of the anime’s 25th anniversary.
The collection of clothing, accessories, and home goods is inspired by One Piece’s Punk Hazard arc and features various members of the Straw Hat Pirates as well as some iconic villains from the show. A red floral print denim jacket and pant set is inspired by “Soul King” Brook, who is also featured on his own blanket in the collection. The offering also features jean shorts, including one covered in spots inspired by Trafalgar Law. Other pieces include graphic tees, a Straw Hats Pirates logo rug, and Y2K-inspired belts featuring bejeweled buckles of the Straw Hat Pirates and Tony Tony Chopper logos.
Hypland x One Piece: Part 1 will be available October 5th at Hypland’s Little Tokyo store in Los Angeles, followed by an online release on October 7th at 9am PT on the Hypland website. Check out the lookbook photos below.
