Hypland, the LA-based streetwear brand with a penchant for all things anime and “geek” culture, has unveiled an official Gundam collaboration.
After dropping collaborations with the likes of Naruto Shippuden, Hunter x Hunter, and Junji Ito, the latest collection from Jordan Bentley’s Hypland features designs from the classic 1979 sci-fi anime series Mobile Suit Gundam. The offering includes a wide array of styles, including a reversible puffer jacket, graphic tees and hoodies, knit sweaters, and more. Mechas like RX-78-2, MS-07B Gouf, and MS-06 Zaku II prominently featured throughout the pieces, and even Haro makes an appearance on the LA Dodgers New Era fitted. Our favorite piece, however, is probably the black denim jacket with the zippers and contrasting white stitching that comes alongside matching pants *chef’s kiss*.
The Hypland x Mobile Suit Gundam collection drops Saturday, March 23rd at 9am PST on hypland.com. Check out the full lookbook below.
