London-based designer Feng Chen Wang continues her partnership with Converse with a collaboration on the Chuck 70 Ox in new brown and blue colorways, bringing back her signature 2-in-1 design seen in previous releases.
Tapping into her Chinese heritage, the new 2-in-1 Chucks feature textural finishes that resemble glazed ceramics—complete with burnished detailing for an over-dyed effect—drawing inspiration from the ancient pottery style of Jian Ware. As with past iterations, the shoes feature layered canvas uppers, double-layered foxing tape, and a spliced four-quadrant outsole that gives the appearance of two sneakers fused into one.
