DTLR’s design director June Sanders has created another stellar New Balance SMU, this time offering an astrology-inspired colorway of the 1906R.
Following projects such as the 9060 “Cyan Burst” and “Miami Drive” 990v3, the 1906R “Moon Sign” features a celestial theme, equipped with a light grey mesh base and silver leather overlays inspired by the moon’s surface. Pops of colors in zodiac-inspired hues are found throughout, including “Neptune Blue” and “Team Royal” on the midsole, which are paired with vibrant hits of “Clementine” and “Neo Flame.” Each of these shades represent power colors associated with different astrological signs.
