Daniëlle Cathari is dropping her first ever collaboration with New Balance, a Made in UK 991v2 inspired by her love of pastries.
The Dutch designer and creative director of Kith Women dresses the silhouette in Pistachio green suede paired with Chocolate Brown mesh. Cathari branding is embroidered on the tongue underneath the usual New Balance placement. Metallic grey overlays and a split white/cream midsole rounds out the design.
To celebrate the launch, the Kith Women Flagship in NYC will be offering a specially-made pastry inside the PlantShed Cafe. Dubbed the “Catharitozzi,” the pastry is inspired by the color palette of Cathari’s 991v2 and was created in partnership with Queens-based bakery, Kora.
The raffle for the Daniëlle Cathari x New Balance 991v2 is now open on the Kith app and closes Thursday, February 8th at 11:59pm EST. Pairs will also be available in-store at the Kith Women Flagship on February 9th. Check out the campaign imagery below.
