For the past twenty years, CLOT has been a pioneering force in bringing Chinese culture to the global streetwear stage. The brand continues its commitment to the ‘East-meets-West’ ethos with its Spring/Summer 2024 collection.
Revealed during Shanghai Fashion Week, CLOT SS24 marks a new chapter for the brand as it ventures into new territories, offering its first-ever womenswear, in-house footwear, and handbag collections. To bring the creative vision to life CLOT founder Edison Chen has invited renowned fashion designer Humberto Leon as a creative consultant to co-design the new seasonal range.
The CLOT SS24 runway show, with a theme of “CHANGE THE GENERATION,” showcased a wide range of in-house styles as well as collaborations with a esteemed international brands including sacai, 1017 ALYX 9SM, NEIGHBORHOOD, Tommy Hilfiger, The North Face, and LỰU ĐẠN. Furthermore, CLOT has handpicked four emerging Chinese labels to work with for the SS24 season in efforts to further showcase the creative forces that China has to offer. This includes SANKUANZ, Staff Only, PRONOUNCE, and Caroline Hu.
The highlight of CLOT SS24 has to be the unveiling of the brand’s new partnership with adidas Originals. Now that CLOT’s partnership with Nike has come to an end, Edison Chen and the Three Stripes have reconnected, expanding on the work they did together throughout the 2010s. The new adidas by Edison Chen collection explores three distinct styles, encompassing ultra lifestyle, formal dress, and active/streetwear that are designed to be explored individually or combined harmoniously. Along with a range of collaborative apparel, the collection includes distinct takes on the iconic Superstar and Gazelle.
