Fresh off of the release of their Air Flea 2 collaboration with Nike, Cactus Plant Flea Market is now gearing up to drop its eighth seasonal “JAPAN MADE” collection.
The CPFM “JAPAN MADE” series consists of apparel and accessories made in Japan to be exclusively sold on the CPFM website and NIGO’s Human Made website. For Season 8, the Cynthia Lu-helmed label presents a 10-piece offering full of the playful spirit we have come to expect from CPFM.
Outerwear pieces are the star of the show this season. Included is a reversible “Bigfoot” souvenir jacket that is furry on one side and quilted on the other, a jacquard “Orange Crush” zip jacket, a leopard print zip jacket, a hand-dyed lime green pullover, a heavyweight double layer “Devil’s Ant” pullover in navy, and a multi-colored crochet knit cardigan. There is also a pair of dark olive carpenter pants that feature a subtle all-over camo print and reflective CPFM branding below the knee.
Accessories round out the collection, including a white bandana that features a paisley pattern in CPFM’s signature hand-drawn style and a shoulder bag made of neon-colored fur material. Finally, the collection also includes a 7-piece “24/7 Flea” boxer brief set, with each one featuring a different day of the week on the waistband. This is the first time that these boxers are offered in black and as a set, as previous collections had these in green but only offered one day of the week per season.
