Bodega is running the gauntlet of footwear collaborations in 2022. After teaming up with HOKA, Reebok, ASICS, New Balance, Salomon, Suicoke, and ON earlier this year, the Boston-based boutique is now reuniting with Clarks Originals to release a new iteration of the “Patchwork” Wallabee.
Bodega and Clarks originally released two “Patchwork” colorways of the Wallabee in 2019, inspired by the cultural diversity that makes up the Wallabee’s fanbase. This new “Heritage Patchwork” colorway expands on the 2019 releases with a mix of hearty fabrics that signal the passage from summer into autumn and winter.
The “Heritage Patchwork” Wallabee features a wide range of textures and textiles – combining twill, corduroy, leather, suede, and more – all unified with a brown and indigo color palette. This allows the Wallabee to be paired with a wide range of looks, whether it be a workwear fit with a denim jacket and a pair of corduroys, or maybe some casual jeans and a rugby top under a military jacket. You can even go the sophisticated route with a tweed blazer and cable knit cricket sweater combo.
The Bodega x Clarks Originals Wallabee 2.0 “Heritage Patchwork” drops on Friday, October 28th at 12pm ET on the Bodega website, as well as in-store at Bodega’s Boston and Los Angeles locations. Check out the pair below.
