Billionaire Girls Club, the sister brand of iconic streetwear label Billionaire Boys Club, has teamed up with Osamu Tezuka’s Astro Boy franchise for a collection starring Astro Boy’s younger sister, Uran, aka Astro Girl.
Releasing in celebration of Uran’s birthday, the six-piece collection merges the nostalgic aesthetic of the original Astro Boy anime and manga with BBC’s signature bold graphics, bright colors, and space-themed motifs. Highlights include the oversized camo hoodie and short, each featuring Uran silhouettes integrated into the camo pattern. The ringer tee features a full-color Uran alongside BGC branding and a constellation motif, while the manga-inspired cropped tee features hand-drawn sketches of Astro Boy, Uran, and their older brother Cobalt, alongside Japanese Astro Boy branding (鉄腕アトム). The collection also includes a tote bag adorned with a reimagined version of BBC’s Starfield print with graphics of Astro Boy, Uran, and Professor Ochanomizu.
Rounding out the collection is a collectible Uran figure created in collaboration with ToyQube, available for pre-sale in select markets. A perfect companion to the BBC x Astro Boy figure released in 2021, the Uran figure is dressed in her own BGC camo hoodie and cap.
