Japanese streetwear brand BAPE is back with another collaboration with Philadelphia-based sports brand Mitchell & Ness, known for producing apparel for the NBA, NFL, MLB, and NHL. The partnership is a follow-up to their vibrant championship jersey collection in 2018 and their NFL and MLB collections. This latest collection showcases BAPE’s signature camo print combined with Mitchell & Ness’ authentic basketball gear.
The collaboration pays homage to the hometown teams in which BAPE stores are located — the New York Knicks, Miami Heat, and Los Angeles Lakers — as well as the Brooklyn Nets (in OG New Jersey Nets colors). Rapper Fabolous models the sporty collection; he represents his hometown by sporting basketball legend Patrick Ewing’s number 33 grey and blue New York Knicks basketball uniforms. BAPE offers jerseys and mesh shorts for each team in two colorways, each adorned with BAPE’s signature camo.
The BAPE x Mitchell & Ness x NBA collection will be available Saturday, October 22nd at A BATHING APE Stores, the BAPE.com, US.BAPE.com, and the Mitchell & Ness website. Check out all eight colorways below.
