Since 2020, A BATHING APE and COMME des GARÇONS have released special collections every season, available exclusively at their shop-in-shop located inside the COMME des GARÇONS OSAKA store in Japan. To celebrate five years of this partnership, the two iconic Japanese brands are dropping a special 5th anniversary collection featuring apparel, footwear, and accessories.
Blending the aesthetics of both labels, the collection is comprised co-branded monochromatic pieces such as camo graphic tees, caps, coach jackets, socks, and more. The only pop of color appears on a pop art-inspired tee featuring five overlapping “APE HEAD” logos, which comes in soup can-style container as a nod to Andy Warhol.
Footwear in the lineup includes an all-white leather BAPE STA with “COMME des GARÇONS” printed in grey on the lateral side panels. A debossed “5” logo on the heels commemorates the five-year milestone.
