Salomon and atmos have announced the release of their second collaboration model, the atmos x Salomon ACS + CSWP.
While their previous collab, the “Stars Collide” XT-6, took inspiration from the skies above, this next project is all about the ground below, with a theme of “geological strata and fossils.” The shoe comes dressed in earthy brown hues that get darker as you move down the shoe, similar to how soil changes color the deeper you excavate. Salomon’s “spiral logo ” is huge on the side panels, yet hidden like fossils underneath the lace cage overlay. Additionally, the shoe tape that runs down the tongue features an ammonite design and comes with atmos branding.
The theme of the shoe champions Salomon’s prowess in technical outdoor footwear. This model in particular is well-equipped for the rugged outdoors thanks to its ClimaSalomon™ Waterproof (CSWP) membrane. This layer is great for moisture-wicking and insulation, making the shoe an excellent choice for those cold rainy days.
