Angel Reese Gets Her Own Reebok Engine A “Pretty Gritty” PE

Reebok has unveiled a new colorway of its Engine A basketball shoe designed in partnership with WNBA All-Star Angel Reese.

Dubbed the “Pretty Gritty,” this Engine A PE pays tribute to Reese’s grit, determination, and rising influence. As one of basketball’s biggest superstars, Reese continues to grow the sport and evolve the culture to new heights.

Inspired by Reese’s unapologetic attitude on the court and trend-setting style off it, the Engine A “Pretty Gritty” comes in a bold Black Cherry and Pink Blast color scheme. The shoe features her newly unveiled Reebok signature logo on the tongues and insoles, as well as her first and last name across the tongue tags.

“The Engine A – Pretty Gritty is my player exclusive colorway for Reebok’s new Engine A Basketball Shoes,” says Reese. “I’m excited to give fans a glimpse into what’s to come in our overall partnership and we’re still just getting started.”

The “Pretty Gritty” Engine A follows the release of Reese’s Spring/Summer 2025 capsule collection with Reebok in May. Her own signature Reebok shoe is set to launch in 2026.
