Following the successful launch of the “Pink A’ura” colorway, Nike is now set to release additional iterations of A’ja Wilson’s signature A’One shoe.
The next drop includes a white “OG Pearl” colorway and blue “Indigo Girl” colorway, each holding a special meaning to the 2× WNBA champion. The “OG Pearl” colorway draws inspiration from her late grandmother, Hattie Rakes, who gifted A’ja a pearl necklace when she was a child. Wilson wears this pearl necklace as armor in honor of her grandma, who would always say, “A pretty girl always wears her pearls.”
Meanwhile, the blue colorway is named “Indigo Girl,” inspired by the nickname given to A’ja as a child. Both pairs feature plush Cushlon 3.0 foam cushioning underfoot, providing unapologetic comfort to help keep A’ja fresh in her pursuit of greatness.
The Nike A’One “OG Pearl” and “Indigo Girl” are both set to drop on May 15th via Nike.com and select retailers in adult and kids’ sizing. Check out the official images below.
