Jordan Brand is celebrating 25 years since its expansion into China with some special drops throughout 2022. As one of the first models to release in China, the Air Jordan 12 is heavily featured in this collection. Following the release of the Women’s Air Jordan 12 “Hyper Royal” and an Air Jordan 12 Low, we now have a look at another AJ12 created for this silver anniversary.
The Air Jordan 12 GC “25 Years in China” comes in a color scheme inspired by the OG Taxi colorway, with white tumbled leather uppers and a black pebbled mudguard. Taxi yellow dresses the outsole and heel tabs, while red is added to the tongues, likely as a nod to the Chinese flag. As an added bonus, the insoles are covered with graphics of Tinker Hatfield’s AJ12 design sketches.
