Aimé Leon Dore has announced its fourth collaboration with Porsche, highlighted by a one-of-a-kind 944 Turbo.
Over the years, the New York fashion label has worked with Porsche to restore vintage and customize vintage vehicles and have them displayed at their flagship store at 224 Mulbery Street. The partnership kicked off in 2020 with a white 911 Carrera 4 (type 964), followed by an olive-colored 911 SC in 2021 and a Midnight Blue 356 Carrera 2 in 2023.
The fourth joint vehicle project from the duo is a red Porsche 944 Turbo from 1986. Changes made during the restoration process include custom gold 17″ teledial rims and bespoke gold decals, custom branding throughout, and perforated tan leather and sienna brown Alcantara detailing.
The unveiling of the Aimé Leon Dore Porsche 944 Turbo is accompanied by part two-of-three of ALD’s Doublemint short film, a follow-up to the first part released last month for the launch of label’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection. You can watch the clip below, featuring “Fantasy Girl” by Johnny O as the soundtrack and a cameo from comedian Kevin Herrera.
This partnership also includes the release of collaborative apparel. Our first look at the 2024 offering is a co-branded leather Club Jacket dressed in all red to match the 944 Turbo.
