Earlier this year, adidas Basketball introduced a new silhouette dubbed the Crazy IIInfinity. Its design is an evolution of the Crazy 1, a shoe originally released in 2000 as a signature for Kobe Bryant, known back then simply as The Kobe. As the NBA season quickly approaches, adidas now unveils its full lineup of Crazy IIInfinity colorways for Fall/Winter 2023.
To create the Crazy IIInfinity, adidas started with the DNA of the Crazy 1 and added modern elements to produce a sleeker silhouette. The most drastic change is the addition of breathable mesh shroud with a zip closure on the forefoot to hide the laces. Molded TPU is layered atop the mesh, with Three Striped branding debossed onto the sidewalls and on the toe cap.
For Fall/Winter 2023, the Crazy IIInfinity is dropping in colorways that pay homage to its predecessors. Along with a stealthy “Triple Black,” the new silhouette is also offered in “Metallic Silver” and a White/Black “Stormtrooper” colorway, both of which are original colorways of the Crazy 1. The final colorway comes in Black/Gold, which pays homage to an unreleased sample colorway of the Crazy 2.
The adidas Crazy IIInfinity “Triple Black” drops on October 6th via adidas.com and select retailers. The silver colorway will release on November 11th, followed by the “Stormtrooper” on November 24th, and finishing off with the Black/Gold colorway on December 9th. Check out all four below.
