Original Story (12/29/21): After the Reebok Question came the Reebok Answer 1. Allen Iverson’s second signature shoe originally launched in 1997, which means that 2022 will be the model’s 25th anniversary. To celebrate, Reebok will be bringing the OG white/red colorway back to market.
The Reebok Answer 1 was lighter, slimmer, and more sleek than the Question, and was also the first basketball shoe to feature DMX technology. Another notable feature of the shoe is the lacestay overlays, which featured a split design that acted almost as a shroud to cover the laces. The OG white/red colorway, last retro’d in 2018, matched the 76ers home jerseys at the time, with white tumbled leather making up the most of the upper, complemented by red, black, and gold accents.
Look for the Reebok Answer 1 OG “Home” colorway to launch sometime in 2022 on Reebok.com and at select retailers. Check out the 2018 retro below in the meantime and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
