Tokyo-based fashion label White Mountaineering and Reebok reconnect for their second collaboration.
After dropping their Club C 85 Vintage project in 2024, White Mountaineering and Reebok are back with two colorways of the Classic Leather, each featuring a refined, outdoor-inspired aesthetic.
“For our second collaboration, we wanted to highlight another Reebok staple, the Classic
Leather,” says Yosuke Aizawa, founder and creative director of White Mountaineering. “After the success of the Club C 85 Vintage, we aimed to bring the same level of detail and craftsmanship to the Classic Leather. Partnering with Reebok has been a great creative journey, and this project really shows how our design philosophy translates into one of Reebok’s most beloved models.”
Inspired by the seasonal theme of “Unplugged,” White Mountaineering dresses the Classic Leather in soft brown and grey tones, evoking a relaxed atmosphere. Leather uppers feature White Mountaineering’s signature triangle pattern, complemented by suede and nubuck overlays. This triangle pattern is also featured on the side panel windows, replacing the standard Reebok branding, while additional windows with White Mountaineering branding appear on the back of the heels.
“Our brand is often associated with active scenes, but this time, we wanted to show how our collaboration shoes fit a more relaxed environment,” Aizawa added. “The soft mood of the campaign perfectly complements the color palette of the shoes.”
The White Mountaineering x Reebok Classic Leather drops April 11th on Reebok.com, the White Mountaineering website, and at select retailers. Check out both colorways below.
