Original Story (05/16/25): Renowned fashion stylist turned jewelry designer Veneda Carter is stepping into the sneaker world with the launch of her own Air Max Muse in collaboration with Nike.
Launched in late 2024, the Air Max Muse is a bold women’s silhouette with softly exaggerated proportions and a shape that’s meant to draw attention to the iconic Air technology in the heel. Veneda has unveiled her own iteration of the model in one of her signature sexy, lo-fi photoshoots, revealing a colorway that combines white leather and military green mesh on the uppers with a hit of hot pink on the Air bubble.
Inspired by rain gear and other practical outdoor wear, Carter employs matte and rubberized textures that pair with warm earth tones to capture the essence of spring. Additional features include a sculpted mini Swoosh in brown on the side panels, co-branding on the hot pink insoles, and gold lace tips designed with the same textured gold vermeil look as her jewelry line.

Update (05/27/25): Veneda Carter and Nike have announced launch details for their Air Max Muse collab. An early release will take place in-store at Naked Copenhagen on May 30th, followed by a wider release on venedacarter.com on June 23rd. Finally, a global release on SNKRS and at select retailers will take place on July 17th.
“The Air Max Muse is exactly the type of shoe I love to wear. It has this universal appeal that mixes a classic, sporty look with a feminine, sexy feel,” says Carter. “My goal in designing this expression of the Air Max Muse was to have my personality and energy shine through, so anyone who sees the shoe recognizes it as my style right away.”
“I love that my Air Max Muse can be styled in so many different ways and take on so many unique personalities,” says Carter. “You can wear it all day, whether you’re just cruising down the street, going to a party, or heading to dinner or the gym. The textured lace tips that match my jewelry also make the shoe stand out in any environment, giving it a really high-end look.”
