The Basement x New Balance 1906R “Chrome” Pack

With over 300,000 members across multiple channels, The Basement is one of the largest online groups for sneakerheads and streetwear enthusiasts worldwide. The UK-based platform even has its own sneaker collaborations, most recently teaming up with New Balance on three colorways of the 2002R in 2022. Now in 2024, BSMNT x NB is back with another project, this time on the 1906R.

The Basement has unveiled its New Balance 1906R “Chrome” pack comprised of two colorways: “Day Chrome” and “Night Chrome.” The “Day Chrome” features a reflective grey mesh upper with metallic silver overlays and a chrome heel counter, while underfoot sits a white and cream sole unit. The “Night Chrome” goes dark mode by swapping in black mesh, also reflective, and an all-black sole unit. Both pairs feature BSMNT branding debossed on the lateral side panel, with additional BSMNT branding down the tongue, on the heel pull tabs, and printed on the insoles.

The BSMNT x New Balance 1906R “Day Chrome” drops September 22nd at 4pm BST on bsmntstore.com. The “Night Chrome” colorway will release a week later, dropping on September 29th at 4pm BST. Both colorways will also be available on October 3rd via New Balance. Check them out below.
