Rui Hachimura of the Los Angeles Lakers is getting his own Air Jordan 1 Low OG, set to release in 2025.
The upcoming Rui Hachimura AJ1 Low features an embroidered upper covered in cranes and cherry blossoms, inspired by Hachimura’s Japanese heritage. This design was initially revealed in 2022 on a black PE colorway made exclusively for Rui, along with a matching Rui Hachimura x Air Jordan 36 that hit retailers.
While the black AJ1 Low colorway never saw a public release, an “Oatmeal” colorway is now set to hit the market. The embroidered textile uppers are paired with beige and black suede accents, along with metallic gold trim on the Swoosh and a jade green Jordan Wings logo on the heels. Rui’s logo appears on the insoles, and underfoot is a Sail midsole with a gum rubber outsole.
